How does the Alleviate readiness assessment work?
The readiness assessment at readiness.alleviate.org is a free self assessment across five pillars (mission and strategic clarity; stakeholders and positioning; programs and program design; evidence, data and storytelling; systems, governance and readiness) that produces a personal report with what to strengthen first. 440 organizations in 33 countries had taken it as of October 27, 2026. It is a mirror, not a rating or an eligibility score.
The five pillars
Mission and strategic clarity: whether the organization can say what it exists to change and how. Stakeholders and positioning: who it serves, who funds it and how it is seen. Programs and program design: whether the work is designed, documented and delivered as planned. Evidence, data and storytelling: whether outcomes are recorded and told. Systems, governance and readiness: the board, the policies, the filings and the tools.
What you get
A personal report by email, with the pillar results, the strongest and weakest areas and a short list of what to do first. A 30 minute debrief call is offered. Organizations on Alleviate can run the deeper assessment inside the platform on Growth and get an action plan on Pro.
