The story
worth telling.

Alleviate is building the operating system for the global NGO and nonprofit sector. The infrastructure that civil society has always needed and never had. We welcome journalists, researchers, and media professionals who are telling this story.

For journalists

The angles
worth writing.

01
181 applications. One week. Zero ad spend.
The Alleviate Transformation Program received 181 applications in its first week without a single dollar of paid promotion. Driven entirely by a webinar series across Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia. A case study in community-driven product distribution in emerging markets.
02
The $1B market nobody built for.
10 million NGOs and nonprofits globally run on spreadsheets and tools built for someone else. Salesforce and Blackbaud serve large US institutions. Nothing has been built for the global south at accessible price points. Alleviate is the first attempt at the full OS, global-first.
03
Built by someone who spent 15 years inside the problem.
Robert Okine delivered digital systems for UNICEF, UNDP, USAID, and the World Bank across 60+ countries before building Alleviate. The founder is not observing the problem from the outside. He lived it, documented it, and built the solution that did not exist when he needed it.
04
Country-based pricing as infrastructure justice.
Alleviate’s regional pricing drops the cost by up to 90% in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean versus US and European rates, for the same platform. The argument: if the price point excludes the organizations doing the most important work in the hardest conditions, the tool has failed its own mission.
