🎉 Welcome! So You’ve Just Joined Alleviate.org…

Smart move.
You’re now in one of the most powerful places to find grants, jobs, fellowships, and volunteer opportunities — all in one dashboard.

But now you’re wondering…

“Where do I start?”

This quick guide walks you through the essentials so you can start discovering the right opportunities today.

🧭 Step 1: Choose Your Role

After signing up, you’ll be asked to choose your role:

  • I manage a social impact initiative (e.g. nonprofit, business, or personal project)
  • I’m looking for opportunities (e.g. funding, jobs, fellowships)
  • I want to support others (e.g. donor, volunteer, advisor)

Choosing the right role activates your personalized dashboard experience.

🔍 Step 2: Set Your Preferences

Once inside, head to your Preferences tab and select:

  • Focus areas (e.g. Education, Climate, Gender)
  • Location or region (local, regional, global)
  • Opportunity type (Funding, Jobs, Volunteering, etc.)

✅ This helps us tailor alerts and recommendations to you.

📬 Step 3: Activate Daily Alerts (Optional — but Powerful)

Want opportunities to come straight to your inbox?
Upgrade to the Growth Plan ($9/month) to get daily alerts based on your preferences — including deadlines and application links.

💡 You can pause, customize, or adjust these alerts anytime.

🧠 Step 4: Learn the Tags

Each opportunity has tags like:

💰 Grant

🎓 Fellowship

🌱 SDG-aligned

👩🏾‍🎓 Youth Focus

🔒 Private Opportunity

Understanding tags helps you quickly filter what matters to you.

🛠️ Step 5: Use the Proposal Generator (If You’re Applying for Funding)

When you find a funding opportunity you love, click “Generate Proposal.”
You’ll be guided through an AI-powered builder that creates a funder-aligned draft in minutes.

🎯 Step 6: Save & Track Your Favorites

Found something interesting?
Click the ⭐ to save it for later or track your application status inside your dashboard.

You can even leave private notes on each listing.

💡 Tip of the Week

Start small. Apply for one opportunity that feels doable. Build momentum from there. Alleviate helps you grow, not get overwhelmed.
